The reporter learned from Lanzhou Customs that recently, 27 tons of frozen skinless and boneless chicken breast produced by Gansu Shengyue Agricultural and Animal Husbandry Development Co., Ltd. were successfully exported after passing the quarantine of Pingliang Customs under Lanzhou Customs. This is the first time that Gansu Province's frozen poultry products have entered the European market.
Zhenyuan County, Qingyang City is located in the gully area of the Loess Plateau, with both mountains, rivers, and plateaus. The climate is suitable, providing unique natural conditions for the development of animal husbandry. In recent years, the local government has made the broiler industry the top priority industry in the county, integrating incubation, breeding, slaughter and processing, feed production, and organic fertilizer treatment to create a billion dollar broiler industry chain and cultivate new momentum for rural revitalization.
In order to promote industrial upgrading and expand the export market for livestock and poultry products in Gansu, Pingliang Customs has guided enterprises to continuously improve the quality management system of breeding farms through the "investigation+verification" linkage supervision method. It has collected bilateral agreement requirements related to the export of poultry meat products in China, organized professional knowledge training for enterprise quality control departments, on-site veterinarians, etc., and successfully completed the external registration of export food production enterprises. At the same time, the customs will establish a key enterprise coordinator mechanism, make "one-on-one" appointment declarations, formulate local inspection work plans, and provide protection for the quality and freshness of exported poultry meat and fast customs clearance. In the first seven months of this year, the export value of frozen poultry meat products in Gansu Province reached 3.904 million yuan.
